- There will be absolutely NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES consumed on the school premises. The adult and player will be told to leave the field if this rule is not adhered to.
- There will be no smoking on school premises.
- This league will not tolerate any yelling, profanity, or general misconduct from Managers, Coaches, Players, Parents, or Spectators. This includes public comments to an umpire. We reserve the right to ask anyone violating this code to leave the playing area. If the problem persists, please contact the Division Head or the W.A.A.A. President. This conduct may result in the child’s removal from the league.
- Managers and Coaches give generously of their time. Parents are asked not to abuse this. Please make arrangements so that your child is picked up on time.
- Spectators are asked to refrain from coaching on the "side line." This only causes confusion for the child and could result in an injury if the child is not paying attention to the game.
- Try to attend every game to support your child. Speak positively to your child about his/her performance.
- For the safety of everyone, please refrain from driving on the fields. If a problem persists, you may be removed from the league.
- No dogs are allowed on school premises.
Little League is an Adult Volunteer work project, constructed and supervised by parents who desire to make its benefits extend to their children. Parents must shoulder the responsibility and take the initiative to mane the local program successful. Without your help the program will cease to exist.
This philosophy if the Washington Area Athletic Association is to strive to implant in the youth of our community the ideals of good sportsmanship. honesty, courage, leadership, loyalty and understanding. We have been providing the youth of the community with recreational, adult supervised and instructional baseball program since 1861.
Please familiarize yourself and your child with these rules. The aim of our league is to stress the basic skills and ensure and enjoyable experience for all participants.
